Leaders

Who are the Dance Leaders and Mentors?

Dance leaders have an ongoing association with a Mentor, and so they are referred to as ‘Mentored Leaders’. They may seek Certification at a certain level of proficiency, when they become ‘Certified Leaders’. You can read about what this means here.

Later, a leader may begin to be asked to mentor others, and can start by being a ‘Mentor-in-Training’, then progress to being a ‘Mentor’. Very experienced Mentors are called ‘Senior Mentors’.
