What is a Sufi?

How does that relate to the Dances of Universal Peace?

A special interview with Pir Shabda Khan, recorded on Monday, 11 June 2012

You are invited to listen to a recording of a special interview between Pir Shabda Kahn, the spiritual guide of the Sufi Ruhaniat International (the Sufi order started by Murshid Samuel L. Lewis, the order from which the Dances emerged) and Jamilla Nur Carla Hannaford (author, biologist, educator, and DUPNA board trainee from Hawaii).

Pir Shabda is the spiritual guide for the Dances of Universal Peace, one “ray” of Murshid SAM’s work (the rest are housed in the Ruhaniat).

They discuss the relationship between the Sufi path and the Dances of Universal Peace, including questions and misunderstandings that exist about the relationship.
