It is always a beautiful experience to immerse ourselves in the Aramaic Prayer of Yeshua at this time of fertile darkness, to open to the light within. This time round we will gather online on Saturday 7th January, close to the Russian Orthodox Christmas of the day before. Let’s enter into the atmosphere and energy of Jesus as a native teacher from the Middle East. The power of the words of the Lord’s Prayer in the language Yeshua spoke, Aramaic, can touch our hearts today, opening us to our own experience of the prayer he gave us. Let’s open to this simple, practical and profound Prayer as a way of peace within ourselves, within our lives and within our world.

What we share is based on the work of Neil Douglas-Klotz (see Prayers of the Cosmos, Abwoon | The website of Neil Douglas-Klotz and the Abwoon Community) In the morning, 10.30~12.00 (uk time), we will use body prayers and the sounds of the sacred phrases of the Prayer to open to our own unique experience of our connection to Alaha through ourselves and our connections to each other and our communities. You may wish to have a shawl, cushions for this sitting practice. In the afternoon, 2.00~3.30 (uk time), we will offer our voices in song and move in simple, meditative Dance.
