We meet at the London Sufi Centre, which is just a five minute walk along the canal from Paddington station, every Monday evening during term time. The evening starts at 6.15pm with the Dances of Universal Peace led by Christalla ‘Talla’ Demetriades & Ruth Ochsmann, this is followed by mantric chanting, Zikr practice and an exploration of the teachings of Sufi mystic, Hazrat Inayat Khan (who initiated Murshid SAM and wrote ‘The Mysticism of sound and Music’ ). We end the evening with tea, biscuits and chat. It’s a great start to the week. We have a core group of around 12 people, with others dropping in when they are around. Everyone is welcome, so whether you’re in London for a few days visiting, or live nearby and feel that yearning to gather in the circle to dance, explore Sufi Practices and teachings, which you might have come across in the early morning camp sessions, or to connect with other human beings for the evening, please come along. There is a donation of £10 but no one will be turned away through lack of funds.

If you are a dance leader from the UK or abroad and coming through town, get in touch in advance. We would love to invite you to share a mantric dance with the group. You can WhatsApp me on 07899845317.
