Leader details:
Last year we spent some time exploring the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer online in a way that was deeply nourishing and supportive of our own prayer life and understanding. It worked well focusing on possible meanings revealed through the language that Jesus, Yeshua spoke, guided meditations both seated and with movement, dance, as well as having a chance to deeply reflect on our experiences and to hear those of others.
This is an invitation to explore the journey of healing, connecting through our breath with the whole of our body, all aspects of our being, in connection with the whole of life. We will be guided by the words of Yeshua, Jesus, in Matthew 5, which describes a way of experiencing our journey towards wholeness. We will use the language Jesus spoke, Aramaic, revealing a way of returning to our natural, original being in healthy relationship to ourselves, each other and the natural world. Sharing the journey together is a great support as we heal into wholeness, becoming who we truly are.
Now is a “blessedly ripe” time to do this, for ourselves, for our communities, for our environments and for this living, sacred Earth. We will be guided by the work of Neil Douglas-Klotz on “the Beatitude Way”: a continual internal process that will help us affirm a state of readiness to come to wholeness, to realise our
highest purpose, and to find our right place in society and the cosmos. You can find out more about Neil’s work on this link: https://abwoon.org/
We are delighted to welcome Jenny to join us in facilitating this shared journey. Shamsia, Halim and Jenny have studied and practiced with Neil for 20~30 years and they continue to do so.
We’ll gather weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm ~ 8pm UK time, beginning on the 22nd of April. We will meet for 10 weeks ending on the 24th of June. It may be that I might have to change dates at times due to unforeseen circumstances.
We will record the sessions, to make them available for reviewing or catching up with . These sessions will be on Zoom. Donations are welcome, £5/ meeting is suggested and can be paid by PayPal or with other arrangements.
Do get in touch if you want to know more, have questions, or you feel that this may be of benefit to you. You are welcome to let other people know of this Abwoon Circle online. There are 18 places available.
