DANCES OF UNIVERSAL PEACE – DANCING OUR LIGHT

Sat 31 October | 10:30 am – 5:00 pm

You are invited to join us for a day of Dances of Universal Peace in the beautiful Salisbury Centre Studio in Edinburgh.

The Dances of Universal Peace were introduced by Zen Master and Sufi mystic Samuel Lewis (Murshid SAM) in the late sixties.  He had a vision of dancers worldwide moving in circles while singing chants from humanity’s precious sacred traditions.

Our day will be co-led by Dance Leaders from our Scottish community with live musical accompaniment.  Each dance will be taught anew and beginners are warmly welcomed.  People often leave these gatherings feeling joyful, relaxed, refreshed and at peace. The Dances of Universal Peace are medicine for our troubled world.

We suggest a £20 donation to cover the costs of the day and, if it’s easy, you are invited to bring along simple food to share for lunch.
