“…to the Sufi the whole of life is interesting, a constant vision of bewilderment. He cannot explain this to the world because there are no words to explain it.”
– Hazrat Inayat Khan

This retreat will follow the theme of ‘Vision, Bewilderment & Love’, the title of Allaudin’s outstanding CD of Sufi music released in June 2018. It will run from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. Our journey together will include a delightful and powerful mixture of the Dances of Universal Peace, Sufi teachings, breathing practices, chants, walking meditations, and of course, Sufi Zikr; and as Allaudin often says: “Illumination is an individual affair, best done in groups”.

Murshid Allaudin Ottinger originates from Kansas City, Missouri. He is an internationally renowned leader of the Dances of Universal Peace and has facilitated camps, seminars and retreats around the world since 1979. As a senior Dance mentor and teacher in the Sufi Ruhaniat International, “His exceptional musicianship, creativity and spontaneity are the seeds of ecstatic experiences of the transformational, healing power of the sacred arts.” As well as being a consummate drummer, Allaudin has brought through many wonderful Dances and brings with him a great quality of heart. We are very fortunate that he is once again visiting the UK, following his last visit in 2016.
