Date(s) - 03/03/2018
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
On the 1st Saturday every odd month (Jan, March, May, July, Sept., Nov.) we’ll sing and dance in the Riverside Community Room Hebden Bridge.
Today is “Holi”, so we will include quite a few Hindu dances.
Holi is a spring festival celebrated in the Indian subcontinent, also known as the “festival of colours”. It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. Please wear colourful clothes.
Led by Mo’unisa (Vitalija) & Ralph (DUP mentors in training), accompanied by drum and guitar.
Everyone is invited to experience the magic and joy of the Dances of Universal Peace.
Suggested donation: £10
[ => On the 1st Saturday every even month Mo’unisa (Vitalija) offers a Sufi zikr for women only 4pm-6pm, same place]
