It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness
How do we tend the light in the dark times? How do we keep the warmth of the fire alight during the cold of the winter?
On this day we will nourish and warm our bodies, hearts and souls with companionship, raising our spirits with joyful and tender mantra singing and with mindful movement: body prayers which remind us of our connection to each other and to the eternal light from which we all came.
Jilani: Musician, Mother, Mystic. One of the foremost leaders of the Dances of Universal Peace in Europe, she is also a guide in the Sufi Ruhaniat. Her workshops and retreats are always a safely held space to explore more of who we really are, supported and enchanted by beautiful live music and gentle, meditative movement. All are welcome, whether you are coming for the first time or returning for another drink from the well. Jilani will be supported by her husband Robert Salik, also a gifted dance leader and musician.
