For some, this may be a time of reflection, to hold space for what’s deep inside and what may be whispering or shouting to us when we create time to listen. What are the resources and hidden treasures that will keep us warm through the time of long nights?

For some, this may be a time to remember the bigger picture of life, what connects us to the human and the non-human world of what we are part. What are we remembering and harvesting or holding gratitude for in this moment?

For some, this may be a time to set intentions, to review and open to inspiration or vision for the path ahead. What are our deep dreams and yearnings and what will support us on our journeys?

How do we create space for this? The offering will be a space to honour the many ways we may uniquely experience this season and a window to be present with what is alive in us in a collective way.

As we approach the winter solstice, a retreat space to slow down, to nurture our bodies and our connections, through music, sacred dance, chant, food and sharing. All ages are welcome to join us, whether you have been before or not.

Sacred peace dance, circle dance, relaxation time … all we offer will be optional to engage with in a way helpful to you. A small team of musicians will support us on this journey together.

We have a wide sliding scale of money contributions from £15 to £50 in order to maximise access and also to support us with a living wage in continuing to offer this work. You are invited to feel into the heart what you can comfortably afford, bearing in mind that higher contributions are helping us to balance the books and to offer more low cost places. If you’d rather have a simpler option, a ‘standard’ amount of £35 is suggested as a sustainable average amount which will support these sessions to continue should most people choose this amount.

We will share some food as a late lunch somewhere between 1 and 1.30pm – please bring some vegetarian food to share for this and arrive having snacked to keep you going until then!

When you book there will be the chance to say if you can offer – or need – a lift. There is a regular bus service from Bristol and you can also get the train to Nailsea and Backwell and get a lift from there.

You can contact us with any questions: Morag on moragallen368@gmail.com or Matthew mheysemoore@gmail.com
