A day retreat in Tyberton, Herefordshire
A prayer – dance cycle sung in Jesus’ original language of Aramaic.
Come and discover the many layered richness of Jesus’ mother tongue and thus find a renewed and expanded understanding of our oldest of Christian prayers. When we open the Aramaic window we hear the narrative of our human story, find the map of our shared journey and pray the Prayer of Unity.
In the morning we will begin at our family home in Tyberton where each phrase of the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic will be taught, delving into the deeper resonances and levels of meaning of each word.
In the afternoon we will go the village Church of St. Mary´s where we will sing and dance (with gentle meditative movements) the whole prayer cycle.
This can be a beautiful and deeply moving experience – what a better way to start the Advent Season ?
Susanne is a trained leader of the Dances of Universal Peace and a practising Christian who has worked with the Aramaic prayer for many years.
Please bring vegetarian contributions for a shared lunch.
