Wali and Ariënne van der Zwan

Recorded between Oct 1998 and March 1999, this collection of 13 beautiful dances came to Ariënne and Wali while they were studying the mantras involved.

The first six dances are grouped as a Creation Mass which owes much to Matthew Fox's work on Creation Spirituality. The next seven dances take their inspiration from sufi mantras, with most of the dances and music being original creations of Ariënne and Wali.

"The result is a recording to be listened to, not to be danced at, although most of the dances are sung and played at the tempo we use when dancing".
