We stock and sell a large range of music CDs and tapes with dance instruction booklets with well over 250 published dances. Although we make these dances freely available, all material is sent in trust that the buyer will honour and respect the following principles:

Who are these recordings and instruction booklets for?

These CDs and tapes are inspiring and uplifting as they evoke the atmosphere of a Dance session. Many people enjoy singing along with them, and perhaps trying out the Dances from the available booklets.

If you try to lead a Dance, make sure you have experienced it by dancing it. It is impossible to offer someone an experience you have not had, and the Dances are, first and foremost, a matter of experience. In addition, there is much about a given Dance that we cannot put into words, no matter how refined our description.

Written and recorded versions of Dances of Universal Peace have great value as a reminder to Dance Leaders who have already experienced and learned a dance, as a record of the originator's intentions and of any copyright or other restrictions held by the originator.

The spiritual transmission of the Dances remains experiential, passed from one human being to another. It is especially important in this digital age to remain true to a person-to-person, hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart transmission of these dance practices.

Collectively, the Dance Leaders have the responsibility to channel dance resources in a manner which is consistent with the intent of the Leaders Guild, the Mentor Teachers Guild, and the intended use of the material.

Anyone who is not a Dance Leader may use these materials for their own personal enjoyment and to help them learn the Dances, but they should remember that only trained Dance Leaders should lead Dances of Universal Peace.
